Because its against the law? I honestly don’t care, im not hurting anyone. Why would i obey a law that is tyrannical. THC is completely harmless, the only harmful part about smoking marijuana is the carbon smoke that comes from it. And even if it was hell on your body, its my body. And you may say “well what about heroin, and cocaine”, those drugs cause horrible addiction that cause people to do what ever they can to get their next fix, marijuana is not physically addictive, it does not change the receptors in your neurons, therefore it cannot cause an actual addiction. And as far as mental addictions go, anything can potentially cause a mental addiction. How is marijuana prohibition liberty? I don’t understand how anyone can stand by these laws. “Oh everyone will be smoking weed and there will be stoners everywhere”, remember alcohol prohibition? And how after it was made legal again the number of people that drank alcohol DROPPED! I could go on all day with this. And marijuana is not a gateway drug anymore than tobacco or alcohol, but most people don’t see it that way because its legal, and the government does not refer to alcohol or tobacco as drugs. And for those of you who support keeping weed illegal, why? IS there any real valid reason? Most of the reasons ive heard were not actual arguments, they were just something to say in an argument. I think most of these reasons are based off of pride. I don’t see how someone can look at both sides and still think marijuana should be illegal. I think its that a lot of people don’t want to admit that they are wrong about marijuana.    Read more...
