Why Am I Addicted to Such a Bad Relationship?

Question by Sweetladi: Why am I addicted to such a bad relationship?
what do u think about this situation?I was involved with a guy I used to work with as a security officer. He had been with the company as a security supervisor(for 10 years).and when we first met, he would call up to my job, and hang up, and ask people about me, I mean he really pursued me. When I first met him, he would always mention how “yea, this person likes to put white powder up their noses”.he always mentioned “cocaine”, he smokes weed everyday, 32 years old, security officer for 10 years, ..he basically stalked me, through my co workers,..he would drive past my job, all kinds of stuff, when we first started talking he told me up front he had been accussed of sexual harrassment ..and he didnt want to get in trouble with being involved with me,so some monts past, and I still proceeded to get involved with this guy, and we had like a little something for a few months. The first time I went over his house, I notice that he kept looking out the window..looking behind corners….just acting weird, so after that he broke it off with me, because he said “he has a conscience”…whatever that means…so after we broke it off, he still would play kiddie games, call my job, play on my cell phone..In my mind, I’m thinking “ok maybe he misses me”…so six months later I called him,, we ended up getting involved again in October 2010.And soonas I see him, hes asks to see my cell phone, and starts going through it. asking me”who have you been calling”I’m like wth..( I havent seen you in months, and you’re going through my phone, then he tells me”listen to me, Iwant you to open up an IRA Account, you hear me” in a demanding voice..and if i leave hes like”Oh why you didnt drive up when i told you too” questioning me about every thing…” he laid down the rules…”no popping up over his house unannounced”, no blowing up his phone”(he means calling him multiple times”, “I am not allowed over his house” his reason is because I had “popped” over his house before his son had seen me, and I caused a big problem, because he had to explain to his son about m e” To add,He will not let me ride in his company car, everytime we met up, we would drive seperately, and I would meet him at his job, he would drop off the company car, and we would drive my car to a club, bar, restaraunt, after he got off,”,….another rule,he.also told me not to call or text his work phone..(because he doesnt want people in his business), and he leaves his work cell at work, after he gets off” which he lied about, he would never want to use his debit cards when we were out,he would always say”I’m ougta cash” so he would only use cash when we were out”which i thought was weird, I also found out that his son, his ex-girlfriend(baby mama) and her other two children(by another guy) all live exactly downstairs from his apartment) and in addition, the apartment she stays in is in his name”James Mitchell”) plus he watches her. children while she works( so he could help her get crystal stairs) which is a goverment program to low income families to help support child care”He says he does it so that he doesnt have to pay child support…

Am I in Deep Denial Over My Husband’s Drug Addiction?

Question by DEBBIE W: Am I in deep denial over my husband’s drug addiction?
My 50 year old husband is a drug addict. He has battled addiction throughout our marriage of 12 years. It started out with pain pills and progressed to crack/cocaine. He was clean for 3 years and relapsed last year. Relapse started with cocaine but now I think it is more pain pills. I am the only one working and we don’t have the money for cocaine. He has pawned and traded just about everything we have. Has borrowed money from a former boss and when he asks him to work it is to “work off” what he owes. He swears that he has done nothing since 1.5.2010 but there are days when I come home from work and I suspect he has done something. Of course, he denies it when confronted. He is unemployed and what I make is barely keeping our head above water. Our home is being foreclosed on–goes up for sale 3.18.2010. When confronted about getting a job he makes a joke about it and says “when I know that I can pass a drug test”. Am I in some serious denial or am I not giving him a chance to prove himself. He made a comment about if roles were reversed, he would stand beside of me. I have stood beside of him for many years through this addiction. I can’t stand anymore. I have thought of divorce but I know that would probably send him over the edge. What do you think?

What Is the Point? (Best Rant Ever)?

Question by Jake B: What is the point? (best rant ever)?
You get in a relationship with a hot girl, and you want to f**k another hot girl. You spend $ 75 on cocaine in an attempt to feel better, yet all you do is say “this shlt is overrated” WHILE you still have half of it left. Do you just pour it out? Hell no, you DO that shlt. It turns out its not as overrated as you thought when it’s 7:15 AM and you’re out.
