Question by sunshine: my sister is pregnant & on drugs?
my sister is 14 weeks pregnant and taking pain pills like candy we already my mother and i have begged her to seek help iam so worried for the baby we did talk her into going to doctor for pernatal care will the dr know what if she doent tell him what are side effects of women abusing pain pills while pregnant what can i do to help her anyone else deal with this

Taking drugs will affect the baby and for some the pregnancy can lead to a miscarriage the best thing to do is just get her help whether she wants it or not.

Call social services on her. They can put her in protective care and ensure that she does not take drugs. Sounds awful I know, but it’s about the baby now. She needs to grow up
