well its just past 10 am. and im already drinking, just to feel better and function. I cant afford rehab and im about to lose my family. Im on a very limited budget and need help fast.

It is typically not used for that.
God has helped me overcome many addictions in my lifetime. The more I turn to him and follow him by reading his word and prayer, the more of a better, less selfish and temperant person I become. I claim consistently “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13 God Bless you on your journey and remember whenever you are weak look to God as His strength can defeat anything standing in your way.

The only thing that helps “addiction” is to stop using. A lot of people like to claim addiction is a disease. It is a choice. Cancer, leukemia, polio, etc. are diseases, people do not choose to get them. Druggies and drunks choose their behavior and the only one that can help them is their self. Usually if they are going to change at all it is after their family will have nothing to do with them because they are sick of their lying and stealing. Hope you decide to quit someday instead of being an idiot and blaming your choices on a “disease”.
