Who Should My Parents Talk to About Marijuana?
Question by r: Who should my parents talk to about marijuana?
My parents found my vaporizer. It was hot because I had just used it before I went to bed for my sore lower back after working out They freaked out and grounded me and whatnot which is completely understandable since they are uneducated. The main problem now is that they think I’m addicted to cocaine because they claim I don’t know if the stuff I get is being mixed (cut) with anything. You and I know that it’s a BS claim because it would be completely unreasonable for the people I buy from (2 very good friends of mine) to cut it since that’s also very expensive and is something that just doesn’t happen anymore..
They went to a counselor yesterday and he just made it worse by telling them the problems I have with my nose due to the low humidity are a sign that my pot is cut and that “they should pray that it’s not addictive” even though my dad knows I’ve been having this problem since I was very young which is why they put a humidifier in my room. My parents think I’m harming myself with a vaporizer when there are plenty of scientific studies showing that vaporizing eliminates all the dangers of smoking since there’s no combustion but they ignore all my claims. They don’t do research when I encourage them to find out on their own but they pull the “you think that but you don’t know for sure” card which is true to some degree because I’m 99.9999999% sure.
I’m 18, my grades haven’t slipped (they actually went up), I’m not skipping school in my senior year. I’m already grounded, but it’s getting out of control now and feel like I’m up against a wall of stupidity.
Am I wrong? Am I not being rational?
