Question by Joey: (Pot smokers only) Am I addicted to weed?
I’ve been smoking weed for 5 months or so now and I really like it. I have weed in my room and I smoke every weekend or so, but recently I’ve been having the urge to smoke every night, even on school nights. I tell myself during the day not to and that I won’t but I’ve done it on weekday nights more than once. I’m a junior in high school (no haters, seriously), and I think about weed all the time. I keep telling myself that I have no need to stop because it is not as dangerous as something like cocaine or even alcohol. I think that I need a girlfriend or something to keep me occupied and that would get my mind off of things, but it still worries me that I have so many urges to smoke. All my friends think I’m a major pothead even though I only smoke on weekends and I don’t want them thinking less of me if I start smoking every day. I don’t even want to do that though, I don’t want to stop I just want to want it less. If anybody has any thoughts on things that could distract me or any tips at all please speak up.    Read more...
