Cocaine Signs: Peru’s Cocaine Production Exceeds Colombia’s
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to recognize that tough economic times often force people to turn to the black market — or in the case of cocaine, the “white market” — just to survive.
It looks like that’s the case in Peru, South America’s pristine mountain country, once home to the advanced Inca civilization at Machu Pichu.

Signs of Cocaine: Tasers More Likely to Kill Cocaine Addicts
Today’s cocaine news roundup starts off with a story about tasers — the popular torture weapon of choice in law enforcement circles.
Sure, we’ve all seen victims of tasers gyrating on the ground as if having seizures, then they’re dragged up in a state of confusion.

These news stories demonstrate how cocaine and drugs can have very serious and even life-threatening consequences… That’s a bit of an understatement in the case of the Nanaimo, British Columbia, woman who was urged by friends NOT to drive the day she wrecked her car, killing her two children. Wake up people! Don’t wait for an accident or death before you get a clue… Don’t Drink or Do Drugs and Drive!

Cocaine Effects: Freud, Halstead Virtually Destroyed by Cocaine Abuse
Cocaine users frequently justify their abuse of the drug by referring to cocaine use and experimentation by Sigmund Freud, recognized as the father of psychoanalysis. Thing is, they usually don’t know the full story.
Cocaine addiction nearly destroyed Freud, according to medical historian Dr. Howard Markel, in his book “An Anatomy of Addiction”.
Another “medical revolutionary” from the last century, William Halstead, also faced the same fate. Halstead isn’t as well-known as Freud, but he is considered the father of modern sugary.
How comforting is that thought — a coke addict doing surgery? Hmmmm…
