Crack is cocaine cooked on the stove with baking soda to get rid of the impurities. crack is cheaper because you get just as high with a smaller amount. cocaine is in powder form and can be sniffed and i believe injected but that isnt common. crack is more addictive because its pure 100% cocaine and when you sniff it isn’t 100% pure so it takes more to get just as high. You could smoke powder cocaine which is freebasing but since crack is cheaper and gets you more high freebasing is pointless and isn’t common at all. that was popular before the 80s when crack [called “ready rock” back in the early days] came out.
