Question by RJ: What would the USPS (post office) do in these cases?
1. Someone sent something that couldn’t be delivered to the addressee, but there is no return address, or the post office can’t deliver to the return address either.

2. Someone tried to send a piece of mail that had inadequate or improper postage, but the return address is the same as the addressee or there is no return address.

It’s called the dead letter office. It is where all that crap goes.

It used to be called the “Dead Letter Office”. Now its called the “Mail Recovery Center”.
