Question by Like My Status: Why would anyone in their right mind not like KCRW?
they cover practically everything:

Real life stories that are very meaningful via “This American life” and “unfictional”.

they interview many celebreties via shows like “the business”, “Guest dj project,” “the treatment”

they talk about excellent books via “bookworm.”

they cover true prolems in LA and california via “which way LA.

they give you real news via npr and their own “left, right, and center”

and they give you excellent music at night.

what could they be doing wrong!?

I seem to be the only one of my hundreds of friends who takes interest in the station. Everyone else is into kissfm, and what not. These stations give me a headache because they sounds so ghetto and all they do is gossip about people and celebrities and play the same damn artist over and over.

I love that station! The mainstream radio is terrible…

I like KCRW enough that I even give them money during their pledge drives. Being able to hear punk rock on Saturday night with Henry Rollins DJ-ing is my favorite. I like their news programs too.
